A point that should not be lost sight of 18 substantial contributions (estimated by Blogs at not less than £100,000) that would be forthcoming from Chinese subscriptions if H. M. Government were to support establishment of University as recommended by Committee. On the other hand, if that support ia not forthcoming, Chinese subscriptions will be small.
20 Sloss leaves for U.K. by air on 17th September, I suggest final decision be delayed until after you and your Adviser have seen him.
